Our team members are personable, highly motivated and committed to our vision. Foundry are looking for applicants with these qualities to join the Casual Crew in our Hobart campus. Foundry Crew are responsible for attending our in-school events around the city and speaking with prospective Foundry Creatives.

About The Role:

  • Based in our Hobart Campus and surrounding areas

  • This is a casual position 

  • Immediate start

  • Attend school events such as career expos and classroom takeovers

  • Host Foundry Information Evenings

  • Distribute our Foundry publication Lume magazine

  • Meet with prospective students to promote our program in liaison with our admissions team

  • Conduct application interviews and admissions sessions

  • Work closely with the Admissions and Marketing Team

What We Are Looking For:

  • A love for Tasmania and supporting Tasmanian talent

  • Flexibility to work day and evening shifts ranging from 2 hours to full days

  • A strong understanding of who Foundry is and our vision for Tasmania

  • An ability to comfortably and confidently interact with event attendees

  • Creativity that extends to event logistics, post-event reporting, strong initiative and other administrative tasks

  • Driver's license and clean driving record. (Fines = ok, DWI's = not ok)

  • Event set-up, including audio-visuals - training provided

  • An awesome personality, we are looking for unique individuals with unique traits and characteristics

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, excellent relationship management and customer service skills;

What We Are Looking For Cont:

  • Highly developed time management and organisational skills
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all administrative activities

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills including excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills;

  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills;

Added Desirables are:

  • Customer service or user experience knowledge

  • Current Working with Children Check
