Announcing, a scholarship program custom-made for the creatively-driven: the Foundry Scholarship Program. Three scholarships are now available with selection criteria that take into account your unique strengths, with places available in both Launceston and Hobart. 

2020 commencement

We believe everyone in Tasmania who would like to gain a creative education, should have that opportunity. That’s a big goal - but it’s core to Foundry’s vision. 

We’re excited to announce our Foundry Scholarships are now available - for commencement of studies in Term 1 2020.

The Foundry Launceston Scholarship (1 available)

Full payment of all fees associated with The Wild studying at our Launceston campus. Open to any eligible commencing student. At the time of the interview you’ll be required to show why you think you’d make a great Foundry creative - think enthusiasm, a great attitude, solid work ethic, and evidence of budding creative prowess.

The Foundry Hobart  Scholarship (1 available)

Full payment of all fees associated with The Wild studying at our Launceston campus. Open to any eligible commencing student. At the time of interview you’ll be required to show why you think you’d make a great Foundry creative - think enthusiasm, a great attitude, solid work ethic, and evidence of budding creative prowess.

The Foundry Creative Assistance Package (1 available)

Provision of a MacBook Pro to a student commencing a Foundry Specialisation in 2020 who would otherwise be unable to attend Foundry without this assistance. This is for a student with unique challenges that may be a hindrance to education such as distance and social or demographic factors.

Your scholarship application should include: 

Hobart & Launceston Foundry Scholarships

A statement, no more than 500 words, outlining: 

a) Why you think you’d make a great addition  to our creative community. 

b) An example of how you’ve contributed to a local organisation or community group using your creative talents

c) An online portfolio of your work or examples of your work as attachments (if you don't have a portfolio, you can attach a piece of writing, design, or a snapshot of another project you think represents some of your best work).

Creative Assistance Package (x1)

A statement, no more than 500 words, outlining: 

a) Why you are passionate about pursuing a creative education

b) What areas of creative study are you most passionate about and why

c) An example of how you’ve contributed to a local organisation or community group using your creative talents

d) Anything else about your story you’d like to share which may assist your application.
