Di & Robert Elderton

Future Days

In the early days, our approach to design was to reduce and rationalise everything we did. Things felt much more honest once we began to infuse more of our personal influences into our design solutions — that was the point at which our own distinctive signature emerged.

Robert’s past lives have included being the founder of boutique wine distribution company Mezzanine and gigging drummer in Sydney which included a stint with a Cure cover band in the ‘80s. En route to co-founding Future Days, Di began life as an RMIT Fashion graduate outfitting Regurgitator, K.D. Lang and Jeff Buckley for Herald Sun photoshoots in the ‘90s to publication layout in the early days of Lonely Planet. She currently lectures at MADA once a week teaching Branding and Publication Design.
